United Mission to Nepal (UMN) is an international development organisation which aims to enable the poorest people living in poverty to transform their lives, leading towards fullness of life. Project Officer – Education (Mugu)
No. of position: 1 (Woman only)
The main purpose of this position is to ensure the successful implementation of UMN’s education projects in Mugu Cluster.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education or Social Sciences with minimum three years of working experience in education sectors specially in Early Childhood
- Development (ECD), child-friendly teaching-learning and quality education.
- Three years of working experience in project management with a particular focus on Activity Based Learning (ABL), child-friendly education, Inclusive
- Education, Education in Emergency (EiE), School Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR), ECD, and systems to support effective programming.
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of government education policies, programmes, priorities and issues related to school education in Nepal.
- Strong experience in project management including planning, budgeting, monitoring, reporting, partner management and developing proposals.
- Excellent communication skills both in Nepali and English language, both written and verbal.
