Social Awareness Centre (SAC) Nepal is a NGO dedicated to uphold the rights of marginalized and excluded communities through its interventions on Health, Education, Livelihood, Protection and Climate Change, Disaster Management and Humanitarian Support including Organizational Development and GEDSI. It works with a vision for capable and prosperous society for quality life of women, children and adolescents.
Now, SAC Nepal is implementing the different 10 projects partnership with different partners. The projects covered all 10 districts of Karnali Province. SAC Nepal is going to recruit following vacant position under different projects. Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) Officer
Required No.: 1 (One)
Duty Station: Central Office Birendranagar, Surkhet (with frequent field visit in project area)
Project: POWER4AY and My Forest Child
Partner: Save the Children
Period: 1 year with possibility to extension based on performance and resource availability with 3 months’ probation period
Required qualification, experience, skill and knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with 3 years of experience and advance to higher qualification.
- With expertise in databases, friendly in Kobo tools, MS Office and other analysis software OPMIS.
- Ability to work in challenging environment.
- Good Interpersonal and Communication skills.
- Proficient in monitoring, documentation and report writing.
Purpose of Job
The objective of position holder is to execute MEAL system in above mentioned both program as well as overall organization, provide technical support in program quality control, program planning, capacity building of program staffs in MEAL function and setting up accountability mechanism in PNGO including documentation of program/project’s interventions. Ensure smooth functioning of MEAL system in SAC Nepal, conduct monthly quality monitoring in line with quality benchmark, prepare quality monitoring report, share community sharing tools and conduct output/outcome monitoring. Similarly provide necessary data to the program team to finalize project report, prepare case studies/success stories/good practices for program/project. The position holder will ensure smooth functioning of CFM system, update action plan tracker and Complaint, Feedback and Response Mechanism (CFRM), update MEAL OPMIS, and program database.

MIS and Database Associate

Required qualification, experience, skill and knowledge
- High School (+2/PCL) degree in a relevant field. Bachelor preferred.
- Training in Computer applications with Microsoft Office package (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Access, etc.).
- Must have one years of working experience in managing the project or survey data for the institution.
- Proven experience in data entry, data management, and data analysis.
- Proficiency in using data collection and management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Access, KOBO, and other data management software)
- Familiarity with the Pivot table analysis tool in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling and analysis.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Familiar with handling the equipment.
Purpose of Job:
The MIS and Database Associate is primarily responsible for reporting the project data in the MEL/MIS system. Likewise, s/he will also be responsible for assisting the MDO in establishing a proper documentation system for the USAID ARH Project at the district level. S/he will support the MDO, technical officers based at the district office, and other staff based at the municipality level to ensure timely entry of data into the MEL/MIS system ensuring quality; processing the information from the system and performing descriptive analysis Jointly with MDO to produce brief reports for programmatic discussion in different reflection platforms. S/he will closely work with the MDO and District ARH Manager of USAID’S ARH project as well as with MEAL Coordinator and other program staff to support in producing periodic reports. In close coordination with the MDO, s/he will ensure that the issues in the system are identified and communicated to the concerned focal person from the province on time.

ARH Facilitator (Female only)

Required qualification, experience, skill and knowledge
- High School (+2/PCL) degree in a relevant field. prefer to technical health education.
- Must have two years of working experience in facilitating the different adolescent’s reproductive health sessions.
- Familiar to use smart phone as well as different data collection tools and software.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Familiar with handling the equipment.
Purpose of Jobs:
This position will be responsible to facilitate different Social Analysis and Action (SAA) sessions of adolescents’ male and female, young and lactating mother, mother group and father group in working municipality. This position will be work closely with the ARH and GESI officer as well as Youth Resource Person under this project. Coordination and create enabling environment with local governments including ward office, other organizations, health facilities and schools must be performed. Support to project and organization staffs for conducting different interventions in municipality level. This position also facilitate/support in the project implementation process to ensure the project activities are accomplished within the set quality/quantity and time.
