Community Health Officer

Job description

Salary and Benefits: As per the organization’s rule.

Responsibility

Contributes to the implementation of projects/programs, with minimum supervision in designated municipalities.
Strengthen NTDs service in Lumbini Provincial hospital and play bridging role between hospital and peripheral health facilities and project team. Contributes to produce project narrative reports documentation of project key interventions including case stories
Contributes to produce progressive project reports documents key interventions of the project including case stories.
Provide technical support to the municipality office in implying HP MSS, RDQA, HFOMC Training and advocate in filling the gaps.
Facilitate and support municipality for active case detection, contact tracing in collaboration with Health Office, Municipality and other development partners.
Support in implying LNOB approach in planning and implementation of project activities

Qualifications

At least bachelor’s degree in public health (preferred HA/with BPH) with 3 years working experience in health system strengthening, disease control programs or MNH. Good Leadership skills and team management. Capacity to produce written and comprehensive reports and case stories. Ability to organize trainings, workshops, and national programs. Excellent knowledge about local Government health system (Urban municipality & Sub metropolitan)

Possess knowledge and capacity for using MS tools, Data software (SPSS, kobo tool etc) Fluent in written and spoken English and Nepali and additional local languages with good ability in computer skills.
