Right4Children is looking for dynamic, qualified, and experienced individuals for the following positions to be a part of the Right4children core team.
Chief Finance Officer (CFO)
Required No.: 1
Duty Station: Pokhara
Qualification, Experience and Social Competence: Chartered Accountant or MBA with minimum 7 years in medium to large organisation, with experience in managing overall finance and accounting, office management and business administration; Experience in I/NGO and corporate house is an advantage.
Major roles and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for financial management, including cash flow, budgeting, reporting, and compliance with riht4children rules and regulations.
- Responsible for preparing monthly salary schedules.
- This position requires you to be an enthusiastic and proactive team leader and should work closely with Senior Managers in key decision-making and policy formulation.
- Liaising with people involved in policy areas such as staff performance and health and safety.
- Recruiting staff this includes developing job descriptions and person specification, preparing hob adverts, checking application forms, short-listing, interviewing and selecting candidates in coordination with other team member;
- Developing and implementing policies in coordination with CEO and Chief Technical Advisor.
- Responsible for enhancing productivity of the staff with proper motivation, development, capacity building and monitoring, upholding Right4children’s core values and ensuring its principles in the behaviours and programs.
Media and Communication Manager
Required No.: 1
Duty Station: Pokhara
Qualification, Experience and Social Competence: Bachelor’s degree in communication, Journalism, Media studies or any other relevant discipline; At least 3 years of professional work experience in the field of media and communication, particularly in photo videography, content development for website, handling websites and social media etc. Excellent oral and written communication skills, including writing and editing and an ability to work independently. Strong Nepali and English writing skills are crucial.
Major roles and Responsibilities:
- Developing outreach materials to advance the visibility of R4C, its objectives, and projects both to external and internal audiences, according to the organizations’ communication policy. this includes (but is not limited to) films, documentaries, success stories, blogs, and other media contents including photo galleries, PSA, short movies, etc.
- In close collaboration with the organization & project teams, maintain the official website page and the social media accounts with timely, relevant, and well-presented information.
- Gather and prepare engaging contents (photos, videos, and stories) from field visits following the standards and guidelines of the organization.
- Oversee content development for website and coordinate with R4C’s project teams for regular updates and to ensure organization’s branding requirements.
- Act as a focal person to carry out media and communication related activities of different projects and of the organization as a whole.
Sports Facilitator
Required No.: 1 for Right2Run Project
Duty Station: Pokhara
Qualification, Experience and Social Competence: Basic English Language (Written and Speaking Skills; Basic computer skills including MS office package; knowledge of budgeting; competitive Background in Sports and Athletes; Should be a female; Minimum +2 (intermediate) Educational Certificate; Marginalized background individual will prioritize; Two-wheeler driving license will be preferred.
Major roles and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with R4C extra-curricular coordinator to manage weekly sports training sessions in selected government schools, Independently manage sessions and expand the sports program to other schools.
- Work with groups of young children to develop their skills and talents in various sports, with a focus on trial running.
- Create and manage training plans for running and other sports activities like football, volleyball, cricket, and other local sports etc., in up to six schools.
- Organize local, intra-school sports competitions to provide opportunities for young atheletes.
- Travel to different schools to facilitate sports training sessions.
- Able to write event, monthly, and annual draft reports and submit to the ECA coordinator.
Salary for all the positions will be based on a proven track record of experience, achievements, and qualifications.
