Assistant HR Manager

Khalti, a leading mobile wallet and payment gateway provider in Nepal is seeking a talented and motivated Assistant Manager HR to join their growing team.

Responsibilities: Recruitment & Selection:

  • Partner with the internal department to understand talent needs and develop recruitment strategies.
  • Source, screen, and interview potential candidates.
  • Assist with onboarding new hires and ensuring a smooth transition into Khalti’s culture.

HR Operations:

  • Manage and maintain HR information systems (HRIS), ensuring accurate and up-to-date employee data.
  • Oversee employee relations, addressing concerns, and mediating conflicts.
  • Stay current on Nepalese labor laws and regulations, ensuring Khalti’s compliance.
  • Process payroll, benefits, and leaves of absence.

Employee Engagement & Development:

  • Develop and implement programs to promote a positive and productive work environment, fostering employee morale and satisfaction.
  • Organize team-building activities and recognition programs.
  • Partner with managers to identify employee training needs and support professional development initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and growth within Khalti.

Performance Management:

  • Assist with the performance management process, including setting goals, conducting performance reviews, and providing feedback.
  • Track employee performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Support the development and implementation of performance improvement plans.

Other Specifications: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree a plus).

  • Minimum 3-5 years of HR experience, with a proven track record in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of Nepalese labor laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency in HRIS software (ideally Nimble HRIS) and G Suite.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
