Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank was established by renowned professionals with an accomplished leadership on B.S.2052 with the main theme of “Strong Bank Successful Co-Operation” . The bank is licensed by Central Bank of Nepal as a “B” class National Level Bank and it is the first development bank to raise the capital fund by 3.07 billion. The bank has been offering banking services over 500 thousand customers through wide range of 103 branches and 49 ATM. The head office of the bank is in Durbarmarg, Kathmandu.
Junior Assistant
The eligibility criteria for the post of Junior Assistant is produced hereunder:
Location: Central Office and branches in Province 1 to 7 including remote area branches.
Qualification:
- Urban Area Branches: Must have a Bachelor’s degree from recognized university with minimum 2nd division or CGPA above 2.5.
- Remote Area Branches: Must have a Bachelor’s degree from recognized university.
Age Criteria:
Age not exceeding 25 years for candidates applying for urban area branches and 28 years for remote area branches as on application deadline. (Candidates selected for remote area branches must serve the remote area branches for at least 2 years)
- Preference shall be given to the candidates who have prior experience as fulltime employee, contract, trainee, internship etc, if the candidates do not have prior work experience then they must have taken banking related training, certifications, courses etc.
- Preference shall be given to the candidates from local/ surrounding area in case of placement in branches.
- Only shortlisted candidates shall be called for further processes of selection.
- Applications not meeting above mentioned criteria, with incomplete information and false information shall automatically be rejected.
To Apply
Individual willing to apply for the vacant position should attach scanned copy of required evidence of education such as Academic Transcript, Character Certificate (and Equivalence Certificate if have attended education outside Nepal), recently taken Passport size photograph, Updated CV/Resume, Cover letter and Trainee/Experience/Internship letter.
Only shortlisted candidates shall be called for the further selection process as per Bank’s requirement. The bank reserves the right to reject any application without assigning any reason thereof. Canvassing at any stage of the process shall lead to automatic disqualification. Priority will be given to candidates of local level/area.
The Bank may hire the candidates as per the Bank's requirement. Selected candidates may be hired gradually as per Bank's need.
Depending upon the number of applications received, the Bank may raise the minimum criteria as stated above and call only shortlisted candidates for the further selection process.
Shortlisting shall be done based on the answers provided while applying for the position.
