Yes, I have watched the Drishyam 2 starring Mohanlal and for me unlike others, Drishyam 2 is nowhere close to the first installment. Despite the best twist I have experienced in Hindi cinema in Drishyam 2, it lacks the thrilling moments and the intelligence in the Drishyam. The first half was really boring and that might be also due to the fact I experienced it in a language I never even come across of. For me Apart from the climax twist, Drishyam 2 starring Mohanlal is a average fair and also not a theater material.
So why do I sign up for the first day first show?
Tabu: No, though she is a great in choosing script she is always meant to do this due to the sequel and her relationship with Ajay Devgan.
So, when I heard the news that Akshay Khanna is going to face-off Ajay Devgan, it reminds me of Deewaangi. My one of the favorite Hindi movies. And then when I watched the trailer, it felt like something missing in previous Drishyam. I mean his character's like in part one face-off between Ajay and tabu. It makes me excited for the movie. Otherwise, I could easily skip it.
But that was not sufficient for me to experience this in the theater but the latest statement by the director that it is not the frame-to-frame remake and they have only picked the essence of the movie make me sign up for first day first show as I am desperate to know what they have changed so far, and I expect it to be better. Also, the movie run time is lesser it must be gripping.
