1.Chief Operation Officer
- Manager & Senior Manager | Central Office
Academic Qualification Criteria
> Minimum of Master’s Degree in Management/Economics or related field, Chartered Accountancy shall be an added advantage.
Experience Criteria
> Minimum of 10 years of experience in Financial Institution with good understanding of operations finance and other support functions.
> Contributed in process automation and digitization.
Other Competencies
> Deep industry experience.
> Strong operational background with good understanding of technical knowhow.
> Ability to motivate & lead a fairly large team, coordinate internal & external resources & achieve KPIS.
> Proven experience of formulating policy, procedures/manuals for streamlining Bank’s Operation
> Good understanding of financial management including use of financial tools, grabbing of market opportunity
> Good understanding of legal & regulatory framework in which Bank operates
> Proven leadership experience of handling larger teams & ensure achievement of desire outcome.
Scope
> Plan, direct & control Bank’s operations and finance.
> Ensure seamless operations, build a robust First line of defence in respective functions by formulating policy/procedural guidelines and operational policies for internal control.
> Implementing & monitoring operational procedures and framework as well as monitoring it periodically.
> Design and implement continuous learning of the staff

> Prior experience in designing effective compliance framework for a Bank shall be an added advantage.

> Should have sound knowledge on Anti-Money Laundering, Corporate Governance and Conflict of interest to support business decision making.
> Good verbal and written communication skills to inform and educate employees, and also to file correct and accurate compliance reports with regulating agencies.
> Ability to inform, educate, and train employees on matters that are associated with regulations and industry practices.
> Ability to formulate comprehensive compliance checklist and provide periodic reports, flags.
> Ability to contribute for automation of compliance function.
> Should posses good interpersonal as well as coaching/mentoring skills.

> Experience to lead, guide, and integrate strategic planning processes and organizational goal development
Other Competencies
> Proven experience and skill in examining and re-engineering operational procedures, formulating policy, and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures.
> Good knowledge of international banking business products and practices.
> Ability to analyze problems and develop creative solutions.
> Ability to provide direction and integrative coordination in planning, development, and implementation of strategy to achieve goals across with all functions of the Bank.
> Coordination skills with other functional heads for implementing strategic initiatives.
Scope
> Formulation of specific Strategic Projects related to business, operations & control functions in coordination with the function heads.
> Implement approved strategies within the specific timeline agreed.
> Monitor such strategic projects so as to ensure timely completion.
> Review internal & external strategic premises & suggest the Bank to generate competitive edge as well as USP.
