Habitat Nepal invites highly qualified candidates for various positions based in Habitat Nepal’s Central Office in Kathmandu, Field Office in the East and West.
1. Project Coordinator – East Office in Biratnagar:
This position is responsible for serving as overall subject matter expert in social mobilization-related activities such as implementation, capacity building, on-site supervision, and monitoring and training. S/he ensures that Habitat Nepal project planning is delivered according to approved program, plan, and operating guidelines to ensure the effective implementation of project intervention through strong coordination and collaboration with (Rural) Municipality, concerned stakeholders, community leaders, and target beneficiaries.
2. Project Engineer (Civil) – West Office in Dhangadi:
This position serves as an overall subject matter expert in construction guidance, monitoring, and training. S/he ensures that Habitat Nepal’s construction activities are delivered according to Habitat Housing Quality Standards and the Nepal Government codes and regulations.
3. Architect – Central Office in Kathmandu:
The Architect is responsible for designing functional, safe and sustainable houses, developing technical documents and manuals, and providing basic hands-on construction training and research. S/he is also responsible for developing work plans, bills of quantity (BOQs), 3ds, and taking a construction project from concept to completion. S/he ensures that Habitat Nepal construction activities are delivered according to Habitat Housing Quality Standards and the Nepal Government codes and regulations.
4. Admin and Finance Officer – East Office in Biratnagar:
Administrative and Finance Officer is responsible for supporting the Finance and Administrative Coordinator for all projects (implemented under Habitat Field Office East) financial transactions, allocating costs to appropriate projects and tasks, preparing periodic financial statements and reports and submit to National Office timely, and timely recording of the financial transaction into SUN System and keep the records of the accounting books up to date and overall administration and logistics management of the field office.
