Monitoring and Evaluation Officer

Major Responsibilities: Under the supervision of the Head of Program Development & Monitoring, the Monitoring & Evaluation Officer (M&E Officer) will be responsible for overall implementation of the Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Framework in accordance with WWF Nepal’s Strategic Plan. S/he will coordinate with the thematic/goal leads and cross-cutting leads for effective implementation of programs, and project monitoring frameworks under WWF Nepal’s Strategic Plan.

Qualifications: A Masters’ degree in Natural Resource Management, Wildlife Ecology, Environment, or related Natural Science field with at least three years of field experience in monitoring and evaluation, and implementation and management of natural resource management projects is required. The M&E Officer must be technically proficient in data storage and analysis and must have strong communication skills.





Livelihoods Specialist

Major Responsibilities: Under the supervision of the Conservation Program Director, the Livelihoods Specialist will be responsible for effective mainstreaming of sustainable livelihoods approach/agenda into the thematic components of conservation and development programs and processes of WWF Nepal. This position will be responsible for development and implementation of livelihoods and economic recovery initiatives, strategic planning, partnership building, resource mobilization, monitoring, and evaluation of sustainable livelihoods agenda to document lesson learnt and support fundraising.

Qualifications: A Master’s degree in Sociology, Sustainable Rural Development, Forestry, or relevant Environmental Conservation fields with at least five years of field experience in implementing and managing sustainable livelihoods work is required. The Livelihood Specialist must have strong diplomacy, conflict resolution and listening skills, and capacity for impartiality.
