Communications Specialist
Major Responsibilities: Under the supervision of the Project Lead, the Communications Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing communication strategies that support the project. This position will serve as the primary liaison between project teams and all project stakeholders.
Qualifications: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mass Communications, Development Communications, or a related field with at least five years of work experience in conceptualizing, developing, implementing, and managing communications strategies is required. The Communications Specialist must have strong IT skills including Microsoft Office programs and design software such as Photoshop. The ideal candidate for this position should have a keen eye for detail and should possess ability to work in a team. Preference will be given to candidates with prior regional communications or USG work experience.
