Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) is providing Technical (TA) to the Government of Nepal (GoN) for the implementation of the Motorable Local Roads Bridge Programme, Phase-IV in all 7 Provinces.
CIAS-MEH JV, one behalf of SDC, provides TA through the Local Roads Bridge Support Unit (LRBSU), invites applications from interested and qualified Nepali nationals for the following positions:
Provincial Bridge Engineers (Design, Contracts management and Quality assurance) – (9)
Term and Location: Fixed till December 2024, based in the Provinces and its site office
Brief Job Description (Refer to detail ToR)
- Overall coordination with PBC and the concerned entities for bridge design, drawings and estimates on provincial road network, manage technical officers in the field of bridge design, construction supervision and contract management
Key qualification requirements
- BE in civil engineering with minimum 3 years experience in various aspects of bridge engineering design and construction management.
Technical and Social Safeguard Officers – (35)
Term and Location: Fixed till December 2024, based in the Provinces and its site office
Brief Job Description (Refer to detail ToR)
- Overall support in construction supervision of motorable bridges as per the designs and drawings in provinces, contractual communication with the contractors’ compile progress monitoring of a bridge construction site.
Key qualification requirements
- Intermediate/Diploma degree in Civil Engineering with 4 years experience in the field of rural transport infrastructure, preferably in bridges.
