Job Purpose

The role holder is responsible for administration and efficient operation of managing entire branch including operations, lending, product sales, customer service, and security and safety in accordance with the Bank’s objectives, with primary focus on sales and customer on-boarding. The role holder shall be primarily responsible to lead and steer the branch efficiently and effectively to achieve the objectives/targets set by the Bank. The candidate must have proven track record of delivering targeted sales figures and will need to come in accepting highly challenging and aggressive growth targets.

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as Branch Manager/ Province Manager/ Relationship Manager/ Relationship Officer in Commercial Banks with minimum of one-year service period at one level below or equivalent position.
  • Knowledge of overall Branch Management, Relationship Management, Banking Products, Markets etc.
  • Fully acquainted with NRB Directives and Circulars and various laws of the land
  •  Fully conversant with KYC-AML/CFT and related rules and circulars
  • Strong leadership & decision making skill
  • Strong communication & presentation skill
  • Strong negotiation & analytical skill
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver results

Eligibility Criteria for Manager M2

  • At least 3 years of experience in Officer or above level in banking or related field in case of Master’s Degree or at least 5 years of experience in Officer or above level banking or related field in case of Bachelor’s Degree with minimum one-year service period in Manager M1 or equivalent level.
  • Master’s Degree in Management/Statistics/Accounting/Computer Science/Information Technology/ Economics/Engineering/Finance or subject related to Banking with at least Second Division or 2.5 CGPA out of 4 CGPA or professional qualification such as Chartered Accountant (CA)/Certified Public Accountant (CPA)/Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)/Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or any equivalent professional degree from recognized University/Institution.

Eligibility Criteria for Manager M1

  • At least 3 years of experience in Officer or above level in banking or related field in case of Master’s Degree or at least 4 years of experience in Officer or above level banking or related field in case of Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Master’s Degree in Management/Statistics/Accounting/Computer Science/Information Technology/ Economics/Engineering/Finance or subject related to Banking with at least Second Division or 2.5 CGPA out of 4 CGPA or professional qualification such as Chartered Accountant (CA)/Certified Public Accountant (CPA)/Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)/Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or any equivalent professional degree from recognized University/Institution.

Eligibility Criteria for Officer (Officer O1/ Officer O2)

  • At least 2 years of experience in Supervisor/Officer or above level in banking or related field.
  • Master’s degree in Management/Statistics/Accounting/Computer Science/Information Technology/ Economics/Engineering/Finance or subject related to Banking with at least First Division or 3.25 CGPA out of 4 CGPA or professional qualification such as Chartered Accountant (CA)/Certified Public Accountant (CPA)/Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)/Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or any equivalent professional degree from a recognized university/institution.
  • Age not exceeding 32 years as on 17 September 2021.

All candidates must be proficient in written/spoken Nepali and English language and be computer literate with working knowledge of MS Office applications. Candidates are expected to have smart and pleasant personality, be articulate with superior interpersonal skills and desire to excel. The candidates must have positive attitude and be a team player but be able to work independently and take initiatives.
