Sagarmatha Insurance Company Limited incorporated in 1996, is Nepal’s first Foreign joint Venture general insurance company, having joint venture with Ceylinco Insurance PLC, Sri Lanka. The company, which is backed by major industrial conglomerates, promotes employee growth and opportunity. The company is constantly evolving and setting a benchmark in the insurance industry, with the help of its dynamic management, In line with the company’s expansion and growth strategy, company is seeking to employ number of potential candidates for our corporate office and branch officers all around Nepal

1. Manager / Deputy Manager / Assistant Manager (Marketing)
> Number of Vacancies: Few

Desired Qualification and Experience:
> Bachelor’s degree (preferably Master’s degree) in Banking / Insurance / Marketing / Economics / Management.
> Prior experience of minimum 5-7 years in insurance or Banking and Financial Institution/Industry.

2. Junior Officer / Officer / Senior Officer (Marketing)
> Number of Vacancies: Few

Desired Qualification and Experience:
> Bachelor’s degree (preferably Master’s degree) in Banking / Insurance / Marketing / Economics / Management.
> Prior experience of minimum 3-5 years in insurance or Banking and Financial Institution/Industry.

 

3. Development Officer / Sr. Development Officer (Marketing)
> Number of Vacancies: Few

Desired Qualification and Experience:
> Bachelor’s degree in Banking / Insurance / Marketing / Economics / Management.
> Prior experience of minimum 1-3 years in insurance or Banking and Financial Institution/Industry.

 

3. Trainee Development Officer (Marketing)
> Number of Vacancies: Few

Desired Qualification and Experience:
> Fresh graduates with an objectives to build a career in the insurance industry are highly are highly encouraged to apply.
> No prior experience required


4. Manager / Deputy Manager / Assistant Manager (Underwriting)

Desired Qualification and Experience:
> Bachelor’s degree (preferably Master’s degree) in Banking / Insurance / Marketing / Economics / Management.
 > Prior experience of minimum 5-7 years in Industry.

 

5. Junior Officer (Claim)
> Number of Vacancies: 1

Desired Qualification and Experience:
> Bachelor’s degree in Automobile Engineering from reputed University.
> Prior experience of minimum 1 year in related field with sound knowledge of insurance sector.

6. Junior Officer / Officer (technical) for (Agriculture and Micro Insurance)
> Number of Vacancies: 1

Desired Qualification and Experience:
> Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science/ Agriculture from reputed University.
> Prior experience of minimum 1 year in related field with sound knowledge of insurance sector.

7. Officer (Compliance / Legal)
> Number of Vacancies: 1

Desired Qualification and Experience:
> Bachelor’s degree in Legislative Law from reputed University.
> Preference will be given to individual’s having Master’s degree in legislative Law
> Prior experience of minimum 2 years in related field.

 

8. Assistant (HR/ Admin)

Desired Qualification and Experience:
> Bachelor’s degree in Relevant Field.
> Prior experience of minimum 1 year in related field. Should be able to type in English and Nepali

9. Officer (Reinsurance)
> Number of Vacancies: 1

Desired Qualification and Experience:
> Bachelor’s degree (preferably Master’s degree) in Banking/ Insurance/Statistics/ Mathematics/ Economics/ Management.
> Prior experience in the relevant area of at least 2 years is required.

10. Assistant / Jr. Assistant (Reinsurance)
> Number of Vacancies: 1

Desired Qualification and Experience:
> Bachelor’s degree in Banking/ Insurance/ Statistics/ Mathematics/ Economics/ Management

 

 

11. Officer (Marketing and Communication
> Number of Vacancies: 1

Desired Qualification and Experience:
> Bachelor’s degree (preferably Master’s degree) In Marketing / Management.
> Prior experience in the relevant area of at least 4 years is required like Media Planning / Advertising / Branding / Digital Marketing.

Other Eligibility Criteria
a. Must be proficient in written/ spoken English and Nepali.
b. Must be Computer literate with working knowledge of Office Applications.
c. Good interpersonal skills.
d. Preference will be given to suitable local candidates from the vicinity of branch locations having experience in Insurance and banking industry.
