1. Portfolio Associate (1)

The primary function of the role is to manage the portfolio of clients and support senior PMS associates and relationship managers in managing the portfolio of the clients while building long-term relationships with clients to support their investment decision. The role shall closely work with the PMS business and operation unit to ensure timely and complete recording, reconciliation, and documentation in relation to the business.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage the portfolio of the clients. Identify the client's need and propose the solution.
  • Build and improve strong relationship with prospective and existing clients.
  • Assist the supervisor in various administrative works related to the portfolio management service.
  • Report to designated supervisor on a day to day course of action regularly.
  • Liaison with the client to inform them about their portfolio and provide them with analysis date as per the client- company agreement.
  • Attend to client's grievances and resolve client complaints promptly.
  • Provide clients with comprehensive product/service consultation and guide them to take investment decision.
  • Market Portfolio Management Services (PMS) to potential clients to both individuals and institutions.
  • Ensure prudent care is taken while managing client's accounts.
  • Any other ad-hoc duties prescribed by unit head and management from time to time.




Minimum Qualification Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Management or equivalent degree with at least first division marks or CGPA 3 out of 4.
  • Should have sound knowledge of Nepalese Capital Market
  • Customer oriented
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in both English and Nepali.
  • Sound skills in MS applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Good interpersonal, leadership and team management skill.

2. Associate Mutual Fund Operations (2)

The purpose of this role is to handle all the administrative task related to Mutual Fund Schemes of Nabil Invest and assist assigned schemes managers in order to smoothen the day to day operation of mutual fund schemes.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Assist the supervisor/scheme manager in various administrative works related to the Mutual Fund.
  • Coordinate with brokers to receive trade bills or notes, get the purchased shares credited, and settle receivables and payables on timely basis.
  • Ensure timely execution of EDIS and related activities for the assigned schemes.
  • Timely preparation and submission of the proposals for investment in IPOs, Rights issues, auction bidding.
  • Execute all the financial entries of scheme/s in accounting system on time on daily basis
  • Frequent follow up with concerned stakeholders to ensure timely realization of accrued dividend and interests of the assigned scheme/s
  • Ensure compliance with Mutual Fund Regulations, 2067, Income Tax Act, 2058 and other governing laws
  • Regularly follow up the financial institutions to obtain best interest quote for the fund placement
  • Periodic stock and bank reconciliations
  • Preparation of periodic reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annually and annually) and ensuring the timely reporting to the concerned stakeholders and coordination with media for publication, if needed
  • Liaison with auditors, regulator or any other governing authority and address their queries
  • Report to designated supervisor/scheme manager on a day to day course of action regularly.
  • Other roles as required by Scheme Manager or Head of the department.

Minimum Qualification

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Management or Economics from a recognized University with at least first division or CGPA 3 out of 4.
  • Candidates having experience in investment & merchant banking activities such as mutual fund scheme management, portfolio management, capital market research, advisory etc. shall be preferred.
  • Experienced in maintaining books of accounts and familiar with accounting principles will be preferred.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English and Nepali.

3. Digital Content Creator (1)

The purpose of this job is to use digital channels to reach customers, build brand awareness, and promote products and services and broaden the social media presence of Nabil Invest. This includes reviewing, updating, and maintaining the company’s visual representation in all aspects of design including typography, composition, and color. Prospect candidate needs to have creative approach for digital advertisements, marketing materials, sales documents and web graphics

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Plans and executes all web, database marketing, email, social media, and display advertising campaigns
  • Managing the social media marketing strategy, focusing on LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Google+, YouTube
  • Creating social media campaigns and calls-to-action that drive targets to generate leads.
  • Implementing Social Media SEO tactics aligned keyword and SEO strategies.
  • Write Editorial content and manage a blogger outreach program. Post and comment on relevant blogs
  • Create and maintain a social media editorial calendar and posting schedules
  • Conduct competitive analysis studies on competitors, including digital footprint analysis.

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree specialized in marketing or a related field
  • Proven minimum 2 years working experience in digital marketing and graphic designing, particularly within the industry

  • Strong, well-rounded portfolio that showcases your individual design
  • Proficient Computer Skills, Familiarity with keyword placement and SEO
  • Excellent IT skills, especially with design and photo-editing software
  • Candidates with a proven record of planning and initiating digital and launch   campaign for marketing is preferred

4. Associate PE-VC Accounts Officer

The PE-VC Associate will be primarily responsible to source, screen and manage the portfolio of early growth companies of the. The PE-VC Associate is expected to achieve this via good communication skills, forward-looking relationship development/management with the investee companies, operationalize management information systems to document the fund’s overall status and analyze multi-faceted financial risks and opportunities leading to an overall sound performance of the Fund.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Corporate Advisory team to source and screen potential companies that meet the Fund’s criteria for investment
  • Undertake due diligence coupled with extensive research on the selected companies to verify the company’s overall legal and financial status
  • Develop financial models of the selected companies to arrive at valuations
  • Support the Investment Manager in each and every investment cycle, deal structuring and negotiations, fund operations via accurate documentation and timely communication
  • Formulation of micro and macro-level business strategies for the overall Fund and the investee companies through up-to-date and thorough industry and regulation analyses
  • Conduct periodic reviews of the portfolio companies and report any anomalies that can lead to short-term and long term risks
  • Derive and track the Key Performance Indicators of the investee companies which encompasses financial and non-financial components
  • Accompany the Investment Manager during periodic visits to the investee companies for meetings or discussions on companies’ strategies
  • Manage the MIS of the Fund and the investee companies
  • Develop periodic reports on the Fund’s performance to be shared to the senior management

Minimum Qualification

  • Bachelor Degree in Management or Economics or Commerce or Statistics or Finance or Business with at least first division marks or CGPA 3 out of 4 or professional qualification as CA/ACCA/ CFA
  • At least 2 years work experience in a relevant field. Candidates having experience in investment banking activities such as private equity and fund management shall be preferred.

5. Account Officer – 1 (One)

The purpose of the job is to assist and support Accounts, Operations and Administration Unit of Nabil Invest to fulfill its duties and responsibilities effectively and efficiently. The employee being an integral part of the team maintaining efficient and accurate accounting and finance function within Nabil Invest. This job requires an employee to process and reconcile a wide variety of accounting documents such as invoices, departmental billings, employee reimbursements, cash receipts, vendor statements, bank statements and journal vouchers; review and code financial information; prepare and process documents to disburse funds, make deposits and prepare reports; compile and review information for accuracy; and maintain records. Work is performed by applying knowledge of accounting terminology and using spreadsheets and/or automated accounting systems





Roles and Responsibilities

  • Maintain spreadsheets, manage daily post in and out, and process all invoices, expenses forms, verifying calculations performed.
  • Process payments and documents such as invoice, journal vouchers, employee reimbursements and statements.
  • Working capital management and furnish information relevant to the management for investment decisions in timely basis
  • Enter, Update and/or retrieve accounting data from automated system.
  • Post financial data to appropriate accounts in an automated accounting system according to transactions.
  • Reconcile transactions, financial data and other information including that of other units/department if needed.

  • At least 3 years work experience in relevant field.
  • Knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping terminology and practices, automated accounting system and basic mathematics.

6. Trainee Associate

6.1 Trainee Associate (Depository Participant Unit) – 1 (One)

The purpose of the job is to provide support to concern unit head in order to smoothen the DP related functionalities. The employee shall ensure effective functioning of the unit activities, measured by timely and precise delivery of services thereby maximizing customer satisfaction.

Roles and Responsibilities 

  • To facilitate in terms of handling core DP related task such as DIS, EDIS, Pledge/ Unpledge / DRN, BO-to-BO transfer, family transfer and death transfer.
  • To handle DP related issues and communicate with brokers, CDSC, Nabil Bank branches and/or SEBON as per need.
  • To operate all the designated software related to DP.
  • To facilitate all the tasks related to Mero share.
  • To assist staffs to solve issues during account opening, online account openings and renewals.
  • Reconcile or ensure reconciliation is done on regular basis.
  • Co-ordinate with internal and external audit and provide necessary information and documents with explanations on a need basis.
  • Perform all operational duties and responsibilities assigned in Standard Instruction Manual (SIM) of Nabil Invest.
  • Any other ad-hoc duties prescribed by Supervisor, Unit Head and the management of the Company.

6.2 Trainee Associate (PMS Operations Unit) - 1 (One)

The purpose of the job is to assist Central Operation Associates and the Unit Head in the smooth functioning of centralized operational activities. The role shall be accountable to Unit supervisor and Unit Head for assigned roles.

Roles and Responsibilities 

  • Assist in portfolio reconciliation provided by PMS unit
  • Liaise with the RMs of PMS Unit to complete pending reconciliations
  • Coordinate with NI Analyst Team to complete requested adjustments
  • Ensure timely realization of Dividends, Right shares, IPOs etc. in clients respective portfolios
  • Assist the supervisor in various administrative works related to the portfolio management service
  • Carefully perform payments and receives made by/to brokers in system on regular basis
  • Ensure prudent care is taken while reconciling client's accounts in system
  • Assist in calculation and verification of returns payables to Fixed Return PMS clients and commission payable to referrer, if any, at periodic intervals, i.e. monthly or quarterly
  • Coordinate and assist RMs for FR PMS admin and logistics
  • Report to designated supervisor on a day to day course of action regularly
  • Any other ad-hoc duties prescribed by unit head and management from time to time.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • To facilitate during AGM/SGM.
  • To pledge/Un pledge of securities, Signature verification, securities split, Transfer of securities, Distribution of Bonus shares, certification, corporate actions, Re-materialization/Dematerialization of securities etc.
  • Assist the supervisor in various administrative works related to the RTA/RTS services.
  • Attend to client's grievances and resolve client complaints promptly.
  • Report to designated supervisor on a day-to-day course of action regularly.
  • To compile all record & monthly reconciliation of Shareholder's data with listed shares in PCS & CDSC software as well as reconciliation of cash dividends.

Business Development

  • Increase PPC (product per client) by growing portfolio.

Relationship Management

  • Assist client queries such as DEMAT related queries while onboarding them.

Good Governance and Risk Management
