Position: Ncell Trainee – Technology (Network
Operation and Maintenance)
Managing
the lifecycle of problem management (Customer and Network incident) and for the
end-to-end management of problem investigations by facilitating root cause
investigations and progressing the implementation of corrective and
preventative measures.
Responsibilities
·
Utilize
quantitative data analysis to identify and resolve problems. Perform data mining,
validation, aggregation as well as testing and explaining results.
·
Execute
proactive problem management analysis to minimize future problems.
·
Monitor
trouble tickets to identify impacted system and application outages that
require follow-up analysis.
·
Responsible
for extracting data from a variety of sources and providing analysis and
trending.
·
Engaging
with appropriate technical and business teams within the organization to assist
in the resolution of problem records.
·
Generate
and promote a monthly Post Incident Report (PIR) report.
·
Assist
in production and maintenance of Known Error library documentation.
·
Production
of statistics and reports to demonstrate the performance of the Problem
Management process such as incident trend data to identify and eliminate root
causes, diagnosis of the issue and determining whether new incidents are
related to existing problems, proactive in identifying problems, and analysis
and recommend Service Improvement plans.

Monitor
key performance indicators assigned to customers and generate health reports.
·
Ensure
concerns are addressed in a timely manner, including the following: events,
ticketing issues, requests, queries and handle escalations as needed.

Randomly
audit problem tickets to ensure business rules for maintaining problem tickets
are being followed.
·
Performing
statistical analysis of data, visualize data in easy-to-understand formats,
such as diagrams and graphs by using tools and techniques.
·
Assists
in other areas of the department and company as necessary.
Qualifications/Experiences
·
Students
who are at least enrolled in the final semester of Bachelor’s Degree in
Telecom/Electronics/Computer/Electrical engineering OR Individuals who have
cleared minimum’s Bachelor Degree in Telecom/Electronics/Computer/Electrical
engineering within the past 2 years.
Requirements
·
Excellent
personal and professional record in college or previous employment.
·
Should
have relevant functional knowledge and skillsets
·
Excellent
analytical skills (logical/critical thinking). Sound knowledge of trend
analysis and documenting themes.
·
Creative
problem solving following an issue through to its logical conclusion and
escalating where necessary.
·
Writing
skills maintaining accurate documentation and technical authorship of complex documents.
·
Excellent
knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and relevant functional tools and
applications
·
Should
be able to work in a collaborative and team-based environment
·
Should
be creative and able to explore various subject matters
·
Should
be proficient in English and Nepali – both written and oral
