ADRA Nepal invites applications from qualified and experienced Nepalese
Citizens for the following two positions.
Position: Project Coordinator (Kathmandu
based with frequent field travel): One.
The
position will have nearly equal inputs in leading the implementation of
“Promoting Economic Resilience of COVID-19 Affected Vulnerable People (PERCAV)”
Project (50%) and the contribution in Livelihood portfolio of ADRA Nepal (50%).
The PERCAV project aims to promote economic resilience of the COVID-19 affected
vulnerable population to cope with future economic shocks through capacity
building and engagement of participants in on-farm and off-farm enterprises,
GESI inclusion and collaborative efforts with LGs for short-term and medium
term economic recovery. The position will be engaged in supervision and
management of other livelihood projects and exploring opportunities in new
projects, conducting need assessment, developing concept notes and proposals.
Qualification
and Competencies:
Master’s
degree preferably in Development Studies, Technical and Vocational Education,
Agriculture or equivalent, minimum 5 years of experience in agriculture,
livestock, off-farm or rural development based livelihoods project cycle
management in middle management level. Experience in enterprise development,
market development, vocational training and women empowerment will be value add
Position: Monitoring & Evaluation
Coordinator (Kathmandu based): One
The
position will take the lead role of M&E section of livelihood portfolio and
will plan and coordinate activities which measure and report the accomplishment
of the goals, objectives and results of the project implemented by ADRA
according to prescribed criteria and time frame. The position will be
responsible for data management, learning and documentation, and will be focal
point for government liaison.
Qualification
and Competencies:
Master
in Sociology/Statistics/Development Studies or equivalent, minimum 5 years of
working experiences in monitoring, evaluation and documentation sector in
INGOs, Advance computer skills in word processing and spreadsheets and
presentation, ability to handle database management software (MS-Access) and
data analysis software (such as SPSS) would be highly desirable., ability to
define problems, design specific studies, collect data, analyse data, establish
facts, and draw valid conclusions, a good communication skills with fluency
(written and spoken) in both Nepali and English.
