United Insurance Company Nepal Ltd. has appointed Upasana Poudel as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for the next four year. She has become the first women chief executive officer of the insurance sector.

She has more than a decade of work experience. She has completed her MBA from the faculty of Management Studies (FMS) of Delhi University, India. She started her career in the field of insurance business in India.
