Job Positions



1) Executive- Head Merchant Banking -1

Job Summary :
This is a managerial position reporting to the Chief Executive Officer , an ideal candidate will be responsible for the overall management of department and for execution of plans, policies and strategies approved by the Board and Chief Executive Officer to ensure that the Company’s vision, mission, objectives are achieved through the execution.
The person should develop new business avenues and identify the revenue increasing area from the existing business. The person should also contribute on tapping the new issue management business, increase the number of depository account and increase the number of RTS companies.
This position also requires exploring business opportunities in the market, tapping them, delivering professional & time bound services to clients, reviewing existing systems and processes & reengineer them for better service delivery. The responsibility also involves preparation of budget for the unit and action plan for its achievement within envisaged time with responsibility to supervise units like issue management, depository & RTA functions, liaise with marketing unit to increase the revenue.
Minimum Qualification Requirement:
  • Master’s Degree or Bachelor Degree in Management or Economics or Commerce or Statistics or Finance or Business with at least first division marks or CGPA 3 out of 4 or a professional qualification as CA / ACCA / CFA .
  • At least 3 years work experience in relevant field. Candidates having experience as a Head Merchant Banking shall be preferred.
  • Age not exceeding 40 years.

  • Proficiency in written and spoken English and Nepali

2) Mutual fund Scheme Manager -1
Job Summary:
A scheme manager is expected to manage the fund to achieve good returns from the fund and continuously assessing and studying various types of risks, factors and their impacts on investments of the mutual fund. The candidate will be expected to need less supervision from CEO and also strengthen systems related to mutual fund, provide adequate training and guidance to team members for effective management of the fund.
He/she will also be expected to research on new schemes that can be introduced in the capital market and work together with Research team.The ideal candidate requires thorough understanding of Nepalese capital market and its regulation, merchant banking activities, securities trading process, banking procedures, financial statement analysis, technical analysis and monitoring economic & industry trends.

Minimum Qualification Requirement:
  • Master’s Degree or Bachelor Degree in Management or Economics or Commerce or Statistics or Finance or Business with at least first division marks or CGPA 3 out of 4 or a professional qualification as CA / ACCA / CFA
  • At least 3 years work experience in relevant field. Candidates having experience in managing mutual fund schemes and/or securities/stock portfolios shall be preferred.  
  • Age not exceeding 40 years.

Candidates should have:
  • Good managerial skills
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English and Nepali.
  • Sound skills in MS applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

3) Investment Manager PC-Vc -1

Job Summary:
The ideal candidate requires leadership qualities of heading unit or teams & understanding of Nepalese capital market and its regulations, securities trading process, banking procedures and financial statement analysis. The candidate should be able to gather capital market related information, monitor economic and industry trends & explore new opportunities of business. 
The holder of this job will be expected to have prior experience in fund management for a company or a business group, demonstrate strong analytical skills with regards to project assessment, business feasibility, financial forecasting, risk assessment, fund collection campaign, exits and also accounting knowledge of fund management
Minimum Qualification Requirement:
  • Master’s Degree or Bachelor Degree in Management or Economics or Commerce or Statistics or Finance or Business with at least first division marks or CGPA 3 out of 4 or a professional qualification as CA / ACCA / CFA
  • At least 3 years work experience in relevant field. Candidates having experience in investment banking activities such as private equity and fund management shall be preferred.  
  • Age not exceeding 40 years.

4) Research Executive 

Job Summary:
This position requires exploring business opportunities in the market, tapping them, delivering professional & time bound services to clients and relevant teams within the company, reviewing existing systems and processes & reengineer them for better service delivery. An ideal candidate will combine a strong quantitative skill set with a range of qualitative skills in order to effectively communicate their research in writing and verbally to clients.
Minimum Qualification
  • Master’s Degree or Bachelor Degree in Management or Economics or Commerce or Statistics or Finance or Business with at least first division marks or CGPA 3 out of 4 or a professional qualification as CA / ACCA / CFA
  • At least 3 years work experience in relevant field. Candidates having experience in investment banking activities such as private equity and fund management shall be preferred.  
  • Age not exceeding 40 years.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain earnings, valuation, and industrial models for stocks.
  • Analyze data to identify emerging opportunities and risks, justifying reasoning.
  • Provide BUY/SELL/HOLD recommendations and present findings to the investment committee.
  • Assist in writing research reports with findings, to be published to the community and media.
  • Interact with institutional investors, communicating investment research and responding to requests for models and ad-hoc analysis.
  • Maintain constant coverage of industry-related news, trends, and developments. Disseminate your insight when appropriate to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Devise and perform own primary research methods, keeping abreast of trends and sentiment in the market.
  • Maintain a public image for the firm at conferences/events. Communicate the company’s research, building its brand and referring potential new clients.
  • Contribute in Business development by exploring and introducing potential research project clients to the company.



5) Senior Marketing Associate -1

Job Summary:
The ideal candidate requires a general understanding of Nepalese capital market and its regulations, merchant banking activities and banking procedures. This position also requires exploring business opportunities in the market, tapping them, delivering professional & time bound services to clients and relevant teams within the company.
Minimum Qualification
• Master’s Degree or Bachelor Degree in Marketing with at least first division marks or CGPA 3 out of 4 with at least two years related working experience.
• Age not exceeding 35 years.

Job Requirement
•          Overseeing and developing marketing campaigns.
•          Conducting research and analyzing data to identify and define audiences.
•          Devising and presenting ideas and strategies.
•          Conducting promotional activities.
•          Compiling and distributing financial and statistical information.

Job Summary:

Minimum Qualification
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Management or Economics from a recognized University with at least first division or CGPA 3 out of 4.
  • Candidates having experience in investment & merchant banking activities such as mutual fund scheme management, portfolio management, capital market research, advisory etc. shall be preferred.
  • Experienced in maintaining books of accounts and familiar with accounting principles will be preferred.
  • Age not exceeding 28 years.

7)Investment Associate PE-Vc -1
Job Summary:
This position requires exploring business opportunities in the market, tapping them, delivering professional & time bound services to clients, reviewing existing systems and processes & reengineer them for better service delivery. An ideal candidate will have operation level experience in maintaining records related to fund management of a company or business group, generate management information, have good analytical skills and aware of various risks involved in PE/VC type fund management.
Minimum Qualification
  • Bachelor Degree in Management or Economics or Commerce or Statistics or Finance or Business with at least first division marks or CGPA 3 out of 4 or a professional qualification as CA / ACCA / CFA
  • At least 2 years work experience in relevant field. Candidates having experience in investment banking activities such as private equity and fund management shall be preferred.

8)Executive Assistant to CEO-1

Job Summary:
Executive Assistant to the CEO provides executive, administrative, and development support to the CEO. The Executive Assistant serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies on all matters pertaining to the CEO. The Executive Assistant serves as a liaison to the Board of Directors and senior management teams; organizes and coordinates executive outreach and external relations efforts; and oversees special projects. In line with this, Executive Assistant will also be involved in a separate department for capacity building and later on will be moved to the same department.
Minimum Qualification
•  Bachelor’s Degree in Management /Business with at least first division marks or CGPA 3 out of 4 with at least two years related working experience.
•  Age not exceeding 35 years.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Assists CEO with daily administrative duties and complete a broad variety of administrative tasks that include managing an active calendar of appointments, completing different reports, composing and preparing correspondence, agendas and compiling documents for meetings.
  • Research, prioritize, and follow up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to the CEO, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature and determine appropriate course of action, referral, or response.
  • Communicate directly and on behalf of the CEO with Board members, different committees, and others on matters related to programmatic initiatives as directed.
  • Support CEO in his external commitments related to meeting clients, including service on external boards, committees and other groups.
  • Serve as the CEO’s administrative liaison to the Board of Directors and manage Board activities, which include coordinating Board meetings.
  • Provide a bridge for smooth communication between the CEO's office and internal departments; demonstrating leadership to maintain credibility, trust and support with senior management staff.
  • Work closely and effectively with the CEO to keep well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities.
  • Provide leadership to build relationships crucial to the success of the organization, and manages a variety of special projects for the CEO, some of which may have organizational impact.

Job Summary:
This position requires providing a supporting role to the accounts head. The candidate should have the sound knowledge and understanding of journal voucher entries, bank reconciliation statement and TDS filing to IRD. Candidate with knowledge of advanced Office Packages and Nepali typing and previous experience on accounting software handling will be preferred.
Minimum Qualification
  • Bachelor Degree in Management or Economics or Commerce or Statistics or Finance or Business with at least first division marks or CGPA 3 out of 4 or a professional qualification as CA / ACCA / CFA
  • At least 2 years work experience in relevant field will be preferred.
