The position is assigned to Nepal Resident Mission (NRM), South Asia Regional Department (SARD) to coordinate specific administrative and financial management requirements to the Nepal Resident Mission (NRM).

Job Purpose
To perform secretarial and clerical duties for Nepal Resident Mission (NRM), including organizing and maintaining records, contacting with the public, preparing correspondence and reports, assisting in visiting ADB missions and other appropriate functions as required. The incumbent will report to a designated International Staff (IS) and senior National Staff.

Qualifications

Relevant Experience & Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Accounting or Commerce or any other fields;
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience; related experience in international agencies will be preferred;
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of ADB operational processes and procedures;
  • Proficiency in operating microcomputers and using ADB software packages, for performing word processing, spreadsheets, graphics and database applications;
  • Able to liaise and work effectively with staff within own work location and throughout ADB;
  • Able to work collaboratively with teams as a constructive team member;
  • Ability to establish and maintain productive contacts with appropriate officials of host government, donor agencies and executing agencies and others;
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills are desirable;
  • Ability to work with individuals from different cultural/national backgrounds;
  • Very good oral and writing English communication skills;

General Considerations
The selected candidate is appointed for an initial term of 3 years.
ADB offers competitive remuneration and a comprehensive benefits package. Actual appointment salary will be based on ADB's standards and computation, taking into account the selected individual's qualifications and experience.
This vacancy is a local staff position. It is open only to nationals and residents of Nepal.
